This is a standard error message from ISAH, but sometimes does not relate to VAT at all. The message that occurs when lines are created normally comes up when the selected item on the posting line no longer exists in ISAH.
What you can do:
- Check that the VAT entered is correct. You can do this by multiplying the net amount by the VAT percentage. The result should match the invoice total amount. This calculation applies to both header and lines, and they must match 1 to 1.
- Check whether the item on the invoice lines is correct and correct it in ISAH if necessary.
