This error message can occur when Easy Invoice is not started correctly when restarting service tasks. Similar messages that can be remedied in the same way:
- 'Lock Service Unavailable'
- 'Object Reference not set'

This error message can occur when Easy Invoice is not started correctly when restarting the service tasks. You can solve this by restarting the "Easy Systems Easy Invoice Application Service" on the application server.
After restarting the Windows service, you need to perform one more step, which is to recycle the 'Easy Invoice' application pool. You can do this in the 'Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager'.
It may happen that in the background, the application is still running and, as a result, restarting the service does not seem to be enough. In 'task manager', turn off the running Easy Invoice task and try starting the service again.
