I can't choose a value in Easy Invoice

Situations may arise where, due to an error in the ERP or Easy Invoice system, the service task 'Master Data' does not run correctly. This task is responsible for retrieving master data from the financial package, such as:

  • Creditors + associated data
  • Cost centres
  • General ledger accounts
  • VAT Codes
  • Etcetera.

If you cannot select a value in the pop-up window that appears when you click on the magnifying glass icon to search, this could possibly indicate a failure in this service task, resulting in missing data.

You can check the following in this regard:

  1. Go to 'Administration' in Easy Invoice.
  2. Navigate to 'Service tasks' and find the task that has 'Masterdata' in the line.

(If you cannot find this task, you may be using an alternative data retrieval method. In that case, contact us via our support portal to report your problem).

Is this task coloured black and did it run the same day? Then the problem will lie elsewhere and you can contact us for your problem.

Is the service task red? Then it will indeed not have run properly and this is causing the problem.

In this case, you can start the task manually by selecting the line and pressing the 'Execute' button. It may possibly take some time for this task to finish running.

If the task colours black, it has run properly and you can continue with your work. If this task still turns red after a manual attempt, in that case make a report to us in the support portal with the error message you receive.

You can retrieve the notification by pressing the folder icon to the left of the task, it will display the notification.

Timetable Easy Invoice tasks

On the right-hand side of the screen, next to the task descriptions, there are two columns that display times. The left of the two columns shows the time when the task last ran and the right column shows the time when it will run the next time.

On the left side there is a column with the title 'Executed'. On the right side there is a column with the title 'Execute'. Both columns are filled with icons of clocks.

In cloud environments*, these times will differ from reality because of the time difference of the locations of the servers hosting the applications. In winter time, this time will be one hour behind, and in summer time two hours behind.
